2010 Hyundai Tucson | Chicago Hyundai Dealer

More of what you want in an SUV, Less of what you don't

In theory, an SUV in Chicago is a sensible choice: more room for your cargo, more ground clearance when roads are snowy or unpaved (especially dodging potholes on Chicago's streets), and more traction when climbing slippery hills. It's the trade-offs that make traditional midsize SUVs a less ideal choice. They usually have poor fuel economy, they are mostly expensive and are difficult to maneuver and park.

Small CUVs were a response to these trade-offs, but they went to the other extreme and created trade-offs of their own: cramped interiors, a lack of refinement and a general lack of ruggedness.

To differentiate the Hyundai Tucson from the small CUVs on the road, Hyundai engineers decided the Hyundai Tucson needed to offer the best of both worlds. They Wanted to combine the rugged utility of an SUV with the maneuverability and fine  tuning of a car. Once you have experienced it, you'll understand why the 2010 Hyundai Tucson is the right vehicle for Chicago Residents and it's why many choose Rogers as their Hyundai Dealer in Chicago.

The Box Made Beautiful

Chicago Public Schools taught us one of the key principles of geometry... Ok for most of us to understand...  Rectangular shapes hold more than those with curves and sloping sides. So when designing a utility vehicle - particularly one that's smaller by nature - usually boxier is better. Hyundai Engineers Challenged themselves to turn that boxy utility into graceful exterior design. And Man they did! The teams at the Frankfurt-based design and engineering centers were able to combine functionality and form in the sleek lines of the 2010 Tucson. This Tucson was the first Hyundai CUV to be designed in Europe.
You have to see the 2010 Hyundai Tucson from Rogers
Hyundai Chicago in person to appreciate it. Out on the road, the Tucson has an aggressive, stable stance that sets it apart from many other vehicles. You can't miss the sculpted hood, wrap-around headlights and rear roof spoiler that make it look both refined and ready.

Small Never Felt So Big

The 2010 Hyundai Tucson Chicago is the smallest Compact Utility Vehicle in the Hyundai lineup, but you wouldn't think so given its airy cabin, comfortable seating and the long list of standard and available equipment. In fact, you might just begin to think that smaller is better.

It's impossible to be comfortable in a vehicle if you can't reach all the controls easily, which is why the Hyundai Tucson comes standard with an eight-way adjustable driver seat.

The steering wheel is also adjustable to maximize comfort and driving ergonomics. And, as in every Hyundai we build for Chicago and the world, controls and gauges are easy to spot and the dashboard itself is set lower to improve visibility and create a sense of spaciousness for Chicagoan alike.

Available interior features include fully automatic climate control and leather seating surfaces with heated front seats. The icing on the cake is a built-in trip computer, standard on all models. It'll tell you precisely how many miles you can drive with the fuel you have left in your tank.
