Why is tire rotation important?

Through normal use of your vehicle, your tires will wear unevenly. By regularly rotating your tires, you can evenly distribute their wear, helping you get the most miles out of your tires while maximizing their traction.  It's not only a cost-effective maintenance service, it's also a safe one.


Why do tires wear unevenly?

Tires wear unevenly due to a number of factors, including front and rear axle weight differences, exertion applied from steering and braking, and the condition of your tires' alignment and inflation. In general, a vehicle's front tires will wear out faster than the rear tires. Rotating them helps even out the wear and extends the overall life of your set of tires.


How often should I rotate my tires?

Every vehicle is different, so you should check your owner's manual or consult a Rogers technician.  Most manufacturers recommend rotating tires roughly every 5,000 to 10,000 miles.
