Hyundai announced two new model upgrades for 2013 at this year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit:  The brand new 2013 Veloster Turbo and the revamped 2013 Genesis Coupe.  The running theme here appears to be power, with both vehicles offering drivers a veritable turbocharged experience.

Bloomberg Names Hyundai Veloster “Best Economy Car”

In its recently published "Best Drives of 2011," Bloomberg recognized the 2012 Hyundai Veloster as "Best Economy Car." This is the third annual vehicle roundup for the nationally renowned financial and news powerhouse, and it is no small honor that the Veloster has earned this prestigious title.

Jason Harper, Bloomberg's auto critic, praises the Hyundai Veloster for being "the most out-and-out fun" and "crammed with amenities."  He gave special mention to its 40 mpg?

Hyundai Confirms Veloster Turbo

Exciting developments are on the horizon for the Hyundai Veloster, the sporty new compact car that just hit dealerships this fall.  Hyundai just announced this week via its Twitter page that a turbocharged version of the Veloster is in the works:  "It's official," tweets Hyundai CEO Joe Krafcik. "Veloster Turbo is coming. More details in January at the Detroit Auto Show."

The numbers are in, and there's no doubt about it:  The 2012 Hyundai Accent is on fire.  In July 2011, its first full month of sales, it outsold all other cars in the subcompact category, beating out veritable competitors like the Ford Fiesta and Honda Fit.  The top five sales numbers are as follows:

Hyundai Takes Top Spot in Brand Loyalty
